The plant :
Fittonia plants are known for thriving in moist environments with bright, indirect light.
Care
Light: Place in a bright spot away from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves. An east- or north-facing window is ideal.
Placement: Keep away from cold drafts and heat sources like radiators. Fittonias also thrive in humid locations like bathrooms or kitchens, or can be grown in terrariums.
Watering: Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, but avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Fittonias will droop significantly when thirsty, but typically recover quickly once watered.
Humidity: These plants need high humidity. You can achieve this by misting the leaves, placing the pot on a tray of damp pebbles, using a humidifier, or keeping it in a terrarium.
